Music Reading Skills for Piano Complete Levels 1 - 3
Robert Anthony
This book has been designed to train piano students to become proficient at reading music. It can be used to train sight-reading or over-all reading skill.
This first book of the series is written entirely in common time (4/4), and introduces treble clef in five-finger positions in C and G, giving the student ample time to gain confidence before moving on to bass clef. It then sets the same standard for bass clef before moving on to both hands.
The second and third books pick up where the previous left off and get progressively more difficult as you work your way through them. Each of these has a second section comprised of music from the Classical repertoire.
